At Redeemer Lincoln Square, we believe the gospel changes everything. What is the gospel? Everyone lives for something, and whatever that is will function as ‘god’ in our lives. We bind ourselves by loving and serving created things when our hearts were designed to know and love God. Jesus lived the life we should have lived and died the death we should have died — in our place, so now we can be loved and adopted by God, and not on our performance. As we experience the gospel, it shapes what we love and devote ourselves to, nurtured through teaching, reflection, and personal growth. It inspires us to live openly, sharing our faith through friendship, hospitality, and meaningful conversations. It builds deep and lasting community, turning connections into family and encouraging acts of love and kindness. And it guides how we engage with the city — honoring its diversity, addressing social challenges, and celebrating work and culture that contribute to human flourishing.
We don’t expect you to agree with us from day one. In fact, we think the best faith is one that’s been tested by honest questions and real dialogue. That’s why we strive to be a community driven by three missional values:
To be a church that’s not for ourselves, but for others.
To be a church that values questions and the people who ask them.
To be a place where members of our community are known, loved and cared for.
